According to an independent verifier’s report, the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF) has, for the periods from 1 January 2020 through 31 December 2025, established policies and procedures for complying with the Global Investment Performance Standards (GIPS®). The GIPS are voluntary, ethical standards for calculating and presenting investment performance based on the principles of fair representation and full disclosure. 2025 marks the sixth year in which the Fund has claimed compliance and has been verified by The Spaulding Group (TSG).
“At UNJSPF, we are committed to maintaining robust procedures. This verification reflects our continued dedication to transparency, accountability and the highest standards of governance,” said José Antonio Núñez, Chief Risk and Compliance Officer.
TSG’s opinion, contained in its Independent Verifier’s Verification and Performance Examination Report, additionally confirmed that the UNJSPF had prepared and presented the accompanying Total Fund’s GIPS asset owner report for the periods from January 1, 2020 through December 31, 2025 in compliance with the GIPS standards.
“Meeting global best practices for the benefit of our participants, retirees and beneficiaries is at the heart of what we do. We remain committed to applying rigorous policies and procedures as part of our responsibility to our stakeholders,” said Marisol Cardenas Gallo, Head of Investment and Performance Risk at the Fund.
