Ms. Kirsten Hathaway of Australia (Western European and other States) was appointed Director of Total Fund Strategies (D-1) on 1 October 2026. Prior to her appointment, she held progressively senior roles in Fixed Income and most recently served as Senior Investment Officer, overseeing approximately USD 14 billion in credit strategies. Ms. Hathaway brings 27 years of institutional investment management experience, including more than 14 years with the UN Joint Staff Pension Fund.  In her new role, she supports the Chief Investment Officer in advancing the Fund’s overall investment strategy and coordinates several key areas for the entire Investments function. She oversees the Asset Allocation, External Manager, Responsible Investment and Quantitative Investment teams. 

She holds a Master's in Applied Finance from Macquarie University and a Bachelor's in Commerce, Economics; Accounting and Finance from Griffith University.
