The report of the 81st Session of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Board to the United Nations General Assembly has been published in all six official languages of the United Nations. Please access it here.

The report covers the issues addressed by the Pension Board at its 81st session from 21 July to 25 July 2025. The Board considered a wide range of issues that pertained to the funding, management, governance and oversight of the United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund. The report contains important insights on the Pension Board’s deliberations, including on actuarial matters and valuation assumptions, the performance of pension administration and investments and the 2024 financial statements. It sets out the decisions taken and recommendations by the Pension Board to the General Assembly of the United Nations, including on the Fund’s proposed administrative budget for 2026 and changes to the Regulations and Rules.
