The United Nations Joint Staff Pension Fund (UNJSPF, or “The Fund”) has released its audited financial statements for the year ending 31 December 2024.
• Net assets: the UNJSPF's net assets available for benefits increased to US$95.42 billion in 2024, an 8.1% rise from 2023.
• Investment growth: the total investment value reached US$94.36 billion, marking a 7.7% increase from the previous year.
• Pension contributions: contributions grew to US$3.66 billion, reflecting a rising participant base with 150,704 accounts as of year-end in 2024.
• Benefit payments: the Fund distributed US$3.84 billion in benefits, supporting over 89,000 beneficiaries globally across 190 countries.

The Fund’s investment portfolio, valued at US$95.23 billion inclusive of cash and cash equivalents, reflects a diverse allocation aimed at stability and growth:
• Equities: US$42.56 billion
• Fixed income: US$36.17 billion
• Real assets and alternatives: a combined US$15.63 billion, diversified across various geographies, with the majority invested in North America.
• Cash and cash equivalents: US$873 million.
