Entitlement Letters are now available on MSS for new retirees

4 June 2020

The Entitlement letter is the first letter that is issued to a new retiree once their pension is implemented. It contains important information regarding their contribution and benefit amounts. Many retirees require it to determine their national taxes payable, or as proof of benefit/income.

The Fund is pleased to announce that retirees can now view their Entitlement letter in Member Self Service (MSS) provided their initial benefit was processed by the Fund after 1 March 2020. These letters are usually printed and mailed out, but due to the COVID-19 pandemic restrictions, handling of physical mail has been curtailed. Going forward, the Fund will no longer be printing Entitlement letters available in MSS unless specifically requested by the retiree.

We strongly encourage all participants, retirees and beneficiaries to sign up for Member Self Service.
