Retirees and beneficiaries: new feature in Member Self-Service (MSS) for the Statement of Benefits

The Fund is pleased to introduce a new enhancement in the Member Self-Service portal (MSS) to better support retirees and beneficiaries receiving periodic pension benefits: the Statement of Benefits Self-Service feature.

This new functionality empowers retirees and beneficiaries to:

  • Subscribe to receive their customized annual Statement of Benefits via postal mail once it is available
  • Generate their past statements directly within MSS upon subscription
  • Customize their statement by selecting their preferred language and applicable payment period

Subscribers can customize their statement by choosing:

  • Languages: English or French
  • Payment Periods (12-month tax cycles):
    • 01 January – 31 December
    • 01 April – 31 March
    • 06 April – 05 April
    • 01 July – 30 June

Once subscribed, statements will be automatically generated each year (if payments were issued during the selected period) and:

  • Mailed to the requester’s official mailing address on record.
  • Made available inside the requester’s MSS account under Documents > View Existing Documents.

Once subscribed, it is also possible to generate statements from the most recent prior seven years within MSS, quickly, securely, and without needing to submit a separate request.

It is important to note that child benefits paid separately and statements for deceased beneficiaries cannot be generated through MSS. In these cases, requests should be submitted via the Fund’s official Contact Us form.
